Ladle and Whisk

They describe themselves as boutique caterers who bring you wholesome, real, good food made with the best ingredients.
Having had the opportunity to have multiple tastings of Ladle & Whisk's creations, I can attest to the quality of their creations.

Their granola mix in the works

Their granola mix consists of sunflower seeds, walnuts, and dried fruits. Perfect to be eaten on its own or with milk or yogurt, it makes a great snack or breakfast. Personally, I would even add in some fruit for a burst of fresh tartness.

Clockwise from left top: Lasagna, granola mix, sticky date pudding, quiche

The sticky date cake accompanied with caramel sauce was marvellous after I popped it into the oven to warm it up. I still think of it on rainy days especially!

Ladle & Whisk's lemon slice was so darned moist and tangy. For extra oomph, you can even nudge them to make it more lip-smacking and drool-inducing. This is a recommended addition to tea parties.

The pumpkin, spinach, caramelised onion and feta quiche was an interesting mishmash of savoury and sweet flavours, very much invoking thoughts of comfort food with a twist.
Peanut Bananarama: banana, chocolate and peanut butter in one cake!

In tribute to one of Ladle & Whisk's favourite 80's band, the Peanut Bananarama consists of dense twin layers of banana cake with Ghirardelli dark chocolate chunks, smothered in a creamy peanut butter frosting. This will definitely be a hit with many people (I'm talking to you peanut butter fans out there!).

Banoffee Pie

I love banoffee pies and Ladle & Whisk's is no exception. The caramel is made in true-fashioned hard work i.e. stirring and watching the pot for hours. This gooey goodness is then used to smother banana chunks in a lovely pastry crust and topped with fresh cream.

Besides whipping up beautiful dishes, Ladle & Whisk offers their culinary services to clients. You can order their pre-marinaded meats for a BBQ. Think chicken breast stuffed with herb butter, squid skewers with Creole marinade, chilli-lemongrass stuffed fish, marinaded ribeye with salsa verde and Mediterranean vege skewers in harissa marinade. Certainly not your average Joe's barbie thrown. Besides that, if you would like an cosy dinner in the comfort of your own home, Ladle & Whisk can play chef for the night.

Their advice to you: Think of us as that friend who always brings the best lasagne or brownies for the potluck party!

Orders must be made 3 days in advance by dropping an email to ladle.whisk@gmail.com. Follow them on Instagram @ladleandwhisk for more updates on their kitchen adventures.
